Welcome Dancers

The Sway Dance brand was founded by Ida Freeman and has been operating in Worcestershire since 2005. Ida was born in Sweden and trained at the Stella Mann Performing Arts School in London. After graduating, Ida worked as a professional dancer on a wide range of shows including touring with Hawkwind, Stars In Your Eyes, West Side Story and A Chorus Line to name just a few. Parkwood Leisure created a partnership with Sway Dance in October 2010.

Our ultimate aim and vision is to ensure that all age groups, backgrounds and dance genre are included in developing a dance brand that encourages everyone to take part in dance.

Sway Dance is an energetic dance brand that offers excellent teaching in an environment where smiling is as important to us as the dancing itself. We feel that enjoyment is the very foundations which make Sway Dance so special.
