Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all bookings and sessions with SWAY Dance, operated by Nicci Burns.

1. Parties & Events

​

Deposits & Booking Confirmation


A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a party booking. Your date is not held without it.

Balance Payment
The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before your party date, without exception. Payment details will be provided at the time of booking.

 

Cancellations


If you cancel your party, the £50 deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel with less than 4 weeks' notice, the full balance may also be retained, as SWAY Dance will have reserved that date and prepared your session. If SWAY Dance cancels, a full refund will be issued or an alternative date offered.

2. Schools & Education

Booking Confirmation


School bookings are confirmed once a booking form has been completed and a deposit received.

 

Deposits


For single sessions, full payment is due upfront at the time of booking. For block bookings (half-term or full-term programmes), a 50% deposit is required on confirmation, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks before the programme start date.

 

Cancellations

 

Deposits are non-refundable. For confirmed bookings, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 6 weeks' notice — deposit retained; remainder refunded

  • 2–6 weeks' notice — 75% of the total fee retained

  • Less than 2 weeks' notice — 100% of the total fee retained

 

 

 

3. Community & Individual Sessions

 

Pay-per-person sessions

 

Where sessions are open to individuals, each attendee books and pays for their own place. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Payments are non-refundable unless SWAY Dance cancels.

 

Group & organisational bookings (care homes, clubs and similar)

 

A deposit of £25–£30 per session is required at the time of booking, with the balance due on the day or by invoice within 7 days of the session. The following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 4 weeks' notice — deposit retained only

  • 2–4 weeks' notice — 50% of the session fee retained

  • Less than 2 weeks' notice — full session fee retained

 

SWAY Dance will use its discretion in exceptional circumstances where cancellation is genuinely outside the organisation's control.

 

 

 

4. What SWAY Dance Provides

 

SWAY Dance provides the dance session itself — including choreography, music and any props used during the session. All props and equipment remain the property of SWAY Dance at all times.

 

SWAY Dance does not provide any catering, food, drink or cake for any session type.

For parties and children's sessions, the client is responsible for providing a suitable venue unless otherwise agreed in writing. A responsible adult must be present throughout any session involving children.

 

 

 

5. Health & Safety

 

Please disclose any medical, behavioural or additional support needs relevant to participants on your booking form. This allows us to tailor and deliver the safest, most effective session for everyone involved.

 

 

 

6. Photography & Video

 

SWAY Dance may take photographs or video during sessions for promotional use. You will be given the opportunity to opt out on your booking form. We will never share images of children without appropriate consent.

 

 

 

7. Changes to Sessions

 

SWAY Dance reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to session content where necessary, while maintaining the spirit and quality of what was booked.

Selby Allstars Summer Cheer Camp Terms & Conditions

Bookings and Payment

• Full payment is required to secure a place on the camp.

• Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

• A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Cancellations and Refunds

• Bookings are non-refundable unless the camp is cancelled by SWAY/ Selby Allstars.

• In exceptional circumstances, requests for refunds may be considered at the discretion of Selby Allstars.

• If a participant is unable to attend due to illness, injury or other personal circumstances, refunds cannot be guaranteed.

Medical Information

• Parents/guardians must provide accurate information regarding any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, medication requirements or additional support needs.

• It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify Selby Allstars of any changes to this information prior to the camp.

Participant Safety

• Cheerleading, dance and physical activity involve an element of physical risk. Every reasonable precaution will be taken to provide a safe and supportive environment.

• Participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a refillable drinks bottle each day.

• Participants should not attend if they are unwell or have a condition that could place themselves or others at risk.

Behaviour Expectations

• Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, staff and fellow participants.

• Bullying, inappropriate language, disruptive behaviour or actions that compromise safety will not be tolerated.

• Selby Allstars reserves the right to remove a participant from the camp if their behaviour presents a risk to themselves or others. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

Collection of Children

• Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children are dropped off and collected at the advertised times.

• Children will only be released to authorised adults listed on the booking form unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

Photography and Video

• Photographs and videos may be taken during the camp for promotional and marketing purposes where parental consent has been provided.

• No participant images will be used where consent has been withheld.

Changes to the Camp

• Selby Allstars reserves the right to make reasonable changes to activities, timetables, venues or coaching staff where necessary.

• In the unlikely event that the camp has to be cancelled, participants will be offered a full refund.
